Should be no problem.
I don't agree however with Oracle: as all sw prior to 8i had version specific filenames and Oracle 8i doesn't (anymore) all filenames are different. Also, they always stated as long as their was the two first digits of the version number are different you *can* install it in the same Oracle_home. Just to be sure: use that F-drive.
