Yes, Sun is the primary port for Oracle. However, Oracle uses IBM AIX on RS/6000 to compete with Microsoft in the TPC-C rankings.

Real world experience has shown that a multi streaming transaction processing application using Oracle on an IBM S80, IBM's flagship 24 CPU RS/6000 server, is three orders of magnitude faster than running on Sun's E6500 24 way server (for double the price).
