hello,

I used to have oracle 7, now oracle 8, whenever I used to connect to the database user/password suffized for a local database, but that doesn't work anymore. Now I need to tell the login ( for example a worksheet) that it is tcp-loopback or beq-local to let it work. I noticed that my database instance has changed from orcl to orc1 and the sqlnet.log file which is generated still refers to orcl. I changed and checked my config file in the net80 directory and they don't contain any orcl reference anymore and have restarted the services already ...

Any clues ??

Many thanks in advance Received on Wed Oct 25 2000 - 08:52:45 CDT
