Oracle configuration-Raid and Mirroring

does Oracle support the following configuration?

I have a Sun solaris 3500.

I have about 50 gig internal Mirrored.
Thinking of getting 200 gig external RAID 5 ( need the space)

The question is we have two arrays one external and one internal. How would you recommend to position the Oracle Tables and Objects to produce the best performance. What is the best configuration of Oracle to satisfy this configuration. Can you raid accros arrays (internal/external) Would you recommend this configuration.
