Hi....
I just know this Error often if there is an File I/O Error !!! ( A Block on the Harddisc has an CRC-Failure )

We are suporting about 10.000 Oracle Server installations (really tentousend !!!) and an ORA-600 Error mostly has an File Problem ...
But we are Working with Windows NT 3.51/4.0 and Oracle 7.3.4.1

Maybe Droping the Table and recreating uses other Extents and so other Locations in the Filesystem
