I hadn't actually installed it yet, but was planning to install Oracle 8.1.6 r2 Enterpirse on a Red Hat system. The reason I asked was because there were reports on the Oracle forums (take a look in the Linux forum at http://technet.oracle.com) saying that installation would fail - I think this was to do with not being able to create a database.
