Sorry, but any student who is at the point of writing a thesis should know how to find his/her own information. I agree that newsgroups are a valuable resource, however in this newsgroup you will get a better response if you ask specific questions that pertain to Oracle. If you have done your own research and failed to find information then tell us where you searched and we may be able to direct you to other sources. FYI, I took an independent study class in 1971 and researched multi tasking operating systems. At that time you had to search card catalogs and periodicals for references and then try to locate a local copy of the reference. With the internet, it is much easier to locate references and order copies of books and articles that are not available locally. As a start, I would suggest you consult with a research librarian.
