Error 01034 Oracle not avaible

Every command I enter (example: connect internal, sqlplus create
table..., ...) resolves in the Error 01034 Oracle not avaible. What
should help the Installation is on an Sun Sparc with Solaris 8. And the
Installation ist  Oracle 8.1.6 second Revision.



I am very thankfully for all help iI can get.
