I have two computers running Oracle under NT 4. The databasename, SID .. on both PC are the same only the PC name is different. After creating a database link, I tried to access the remote database, I get the following error:

ORA-02085 database amkexp.world connects to ORACLE.WORLD

command issued :
Create database link amkexp using 'amktst' ------> added in tnsname.ora
Select * from taba_at_amkexp

Then I recreate database link:

Create database link oracle.world using 'amktst'

The system displayed : ORA-02082: a loop-back database link must have a connection qualifier.

How to resolve this problem ?

Many thanks for your help in advance. Received on Sun Oct 08 2000 - 12:58:40 CDT
