Sr. Oracle/Solaris DBA

Experienced Oracle/Solaris DBA with a minimum of 3 years experience required to help optimize and scale our database. Minimum requirements are:
-Setting up and configuring the database (Oracle v8 )
-Database tuning
-Firm knowledge of Oracle data dictionary views and dynamic performance
views.
-Firm knowledge of PL/SQL.
-Should be able to setup a backup system.
In addition, candidates will be responsible for:
-Working with developers to design highly optimized database structure
-Optimizing of database to handle hundreds of transactions a second
-Development of test environment databases
Advanced Oracle administration skills are a plus:
-RAID technology: RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5 and RAID 10
-Parallel Server technology
-Advanced replication
