ANNOUNCE: Version 0.3 of DBA Companion for Oracle

DBAComp(anion) is a database administration tool for Oracle databases. It allows you to browse the Oracle data dictionary in a graphical way.

Main features:

DBAComp is based on the Qt graphical library and is written in C++. It is an open source product developed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). It can be used for Oracle7 or higher.

The most prominent new features of version 0.3 are printing and saving of screen content, a number of new drill-down screens, new reports and a huge number of new SQL script generation possibilities. Last but not least,
the installation has been simplified by the use of an 'autoconf' generated 'configure' script.

You can download it or have a look at the release notes at http://homepage.internet.lu/torsten. You can get the source code and compile it on any platform or you can download binary versions for Linux and Reliant Unix.

Cheers,
Torsten
