Sorry, I don't know of any Windows help files for SQL on Oracle. Look in the Oracle SQL Reference. It comes in PDF and HTML formats. You can get them a http://technet.oracle.com

As far as the additional instance. There are two files that you need to edit: listener.ora and tnsnames.ora. They are found in the ORACLE_HOME/network directory. Be sure to make backups first.
