That sounds like bad news.
Is that 8.1.6.0 or 8.1.6.2 ?
Was the export a FULL=y export or a USER={list} export ?

What method did you use to check the time of transactions relative to the time that the export started ?

Were there any errors of any kind reported in the import log ?
