Switching Servers without downtime

Our company has a oracle server on Sun that is accessed from a Web
application. The application needs to be 24 X 7.
There is need to switch the server without downtime (Oracle would be
installed on another Sun Box at another location)



What would be the possible approaches to carry out this task ?
