Hi, there:

Oracle 8.1.5 for solaris 2.6

We have a complete full hot backup for our database which runs archive log mode. Now if all the disks in our box are damaged, then we have to install Oracle softeware first and create database again, my question is:

when we create the database, how can we use the hot backup to make the database back to the status when we did the hot backup. Detail procedures, please??!!

Is there any online doc related to this topic?

Thanks in advance!!
