I had issues on (2) win2K boxes with 8.1.6.
The DB service refuses to start correctly on reboot.
You need to use a script (.bat) to run ORADIM and then svrmgrl to get it
started. After that it seems OK.
Oracle says this will be fixed in 8.1.7.
