Hi,



I have a large warehouse (> 600GB) hosted on Solaris, using EMC with a
BCV disk set.



When doing a backup (via a EMC mirror split and using 'ALTER SYSTEM
SUSPEND'), is it necessary to have the instance in archive log mode?
