Another place to look for a list of bugs is the readme files on the installation CDs.
For example on the Windows NT CD for ORACLE 8.1.6 under the doc subdirectory is a file called README.doc which can be opened with wordpad. About a third of the way into this document there is section titled "5.6 KNOWN OPEN 8.1-SPECIFIC BUGS" which might be what you are looking for.
This readme file is almost 100 pages long when converted to pdf and could be considered part of the useful documentation for Oracle on the NT platform.
There is a similar file on the Linux 8.1.6 CD.
