DBA Logs

I am trying to find out if there is any such thing as a DBA Log. I am looking for something that actually logs any jobs that are run and so forth. I know there is an alert_"sid".log, but that is not quite what I am looking for. Is there any other type of log that logs the jobs that are run and whether or not they were run successfully?
