On trying to open oracle 8.04 Personal edition on win 98, I get the following sequence:
ORA-1157 CANNOT OPEN DATABASE;
ORA-01034 ORACLE NOT FOUND;
i HAVE LOCATED AN ALRT FILE WHICH POINTS TO THE OFFENDING FILE , I
THINK: 'T_TEST', AND HAVE FOUND THE FILE MENTIONED AS IN LOG BELOW.
EXCUSE THE NAIVE QUESTION , WHAT DO I DO NEXT ?
I AM STILL PUTTING MY L-PLATES ON.
