Since A/UX is no longer supported by Apple, that version of Oracle Server is therefore also no longer supported. <http://technet.oracle.com/support/bboard/content/409.htm>

There is (was?) also a Oracle Workgroup Server 7.3.2 running on an Apple Macintosh Network Server, but that box was surprisingly running IBM's AIX.

There is Oracle 8i client support for MacOS X. <http://www.oracle.com/oramag/oracle/99-Nov/69prod.html#AP>

You should be able to run the Oracle Thin JDBC client on a mac since that is pure Java.
