Mandrake might have started out that way, but it is different enough from redhat these days

Same thing happened to me, It seems like the installer does not like to work under whatever version of KDE that was installed with Mandrake 7.1. I ended up using blackbox to install it. Worked great. Received on Fri Aug 04 2000 - 00:00:00 CDT
