Re: rollback segments going into offline mode?

rollback segments listed in the init<sid>.ora file are brought online when the instance is started and the database is mounted and opened. (it's a little more involved with parallel server)

so, either the line in the init<sid>.ora has been modified (or removed), or the rollback segments have been dropped and recreated with different names.
