Yes - I've worked an error like that for about a week - Oracle Support was
scratching their head but we came up with the fix. Make sure your /tmp is
sufficiently sized - if you can spare about 50 MB, then assign it. Also,
make sure your SWAP space is sufficient. Oracle recommends (not too
strenuously I might add) at least 200MB. Make space and it will run like a
charm. The installer was getting lost doing disk swaps during the make's.
