Oracle 815EE on Solaris Intel - Can't read the CD

Tried everything to mount this CD on Solaris 8. Volume manager automatically
mounts it to cdrom0 but can't read or open the file system. The CD uses
RockRidge extensions, I know the CD drive can read it because I can dual
boot to NT and read the same CD fine on the other OS.  Tried to mount it by
hand using mount but the OS tells me the device is already mounted.  Anyone
have any ideas?
