Procedure and trigger compile errors

I've looked and looked, but I haven't been able to find the answer to
this question:  When creating a stored procedure and/or trigger in
Oracle and it has errors but is still created, where do I find what
exactly is causing the compilation error?  Isn't there a table
somewhere that details this?
