Re: error after oracle8i install on AIX

I recently ran into a related issue, but it was during the install.

XCOFF, if I am right, referes to the X-Windows format for that subsystems stored files/libraries.

Try using a different x-windows.

In my case, I was using Reflections2 X from my workstation and got nowhere. I switched to the X on the console and it worked like a top. I am going to look at another package to see if the same thing happens again.
