One step forward, two steps back -- the Oracle way. Probably requires a GUI, since "everything Java is graphical."

I'm no Java expert and don't have a copy of the OEM CD's, but I suspect Oracle's installer tar|cpio|zip's the Java classes and jarfiles you need on the Solaris sparc CD. You should be able to get to them. Happy hacking.
