and use the external procedure facility in Oracle 8.0 and higher.

Could I ask you two things:
- could you please because of differences *always* include your Oracle version and platform in your post. You might get not responded because not everyone replying wants to outline all the version differences in all his posts.
- could you please *not* post 4 times in quick succession. Usenet is a volunteer business, you should expect people responding at their own leisure. If it's really that urgent, call Oracle Support.
