It is working for me right now without any patches... I am using the NT client to administer... and i am finishing up the setup of the libodbc++ and unixODBC stuff on my system... i am going to try the ODBC stuff today...now that I am able to use all the NT client tools...

also, yes, i could only get the runIns.sh to work also... i read that at "http://www.linuxworld.com/linuxworld/lw-2000-04/lw-04- oracle8i_p.html#resources"
