hi all,
when I want to upgrade my Oracle 8i version 8.1.5 to 8.1.6 is the database
then upgraded or removed and newly created ?
When I follow the install procedure it says "upgrade". When I continue, it
gives at a certain point all de-installations and installations. At
de-installations I see database 8.1.5 and at installations I see database
8.1.6.
Who can give me the clues, because I don't want to lose my current database
instance.
