How to access logfile information

 Greetings,

I need to know if anyone can help me find out if this can be done:

We need to access the information about a SQL event from the log system. We think it might be possible in a few ways:

  1. Generate some system callback that notifies us as transactions are logged so that we can use that information elsewhere
  2. Some way of reading the logfiles after they are written

Thanks,
