Error when installing Oracle 8i!

Hi, I got the following error when installing 8.1.5.:



ora-01012


ora-01034



And after installation, I cannot find oratab under /etc and I try to use
oraenv to set  environment for oracle which shown:



# oraenv


ORACLE_SID = [root] ? ora1


Cannot locate ORACLE_HOME.


ORACLE_HOME = [] ? /usr/local/oracle/8i


oraenv[115]: unlimited: bad number
