Agree whole heartedly with Sybrand. OPS is a proven technology. Got many war stories of OPS kicking butt myself.

As with any technology, OPS requires "proper" design and "proper" implementation. It is not a magic wand as some people would want to make it out to be. But nor is it remotely an unproven technology.
