8i Personal Edition CPU usage

I am using 8i Personal Edition on Windows 98 and my CPU utilization (as reported by System Monitor) stays at 100% while the database is running. It doesn't even have to be open, just mounted. There seem to be system processes that are running SQL statements. Any ideas how to fix this ? Received on Mon May 22 2000 - 00:00:00 CDT
