On May 4 Oracle came out with 8.1.6.0.0 For Linux ,

        This is a MUCH CLEANER release ,

        all you have to do is set the shell env ORACLE HOME

        and ORACLE SID and you are go to go :)

        8.1.5 on linux was a bad dream to install one had to

        do a strange dance to get all to go Received on Sat May 13 2000 - 00:00:00 CDT
