I would let them be, for 2 reasons:

  1. If it's not an advocacy newsgroup, they probably don't want to have to wade through that stuff. My exception to that would be if A says "should I choose Oracle or Informix" and B says "Oracle doesn't work with Java, so don't choose it" it begs for correction.
  2. Market share is not always = best. I would prefer a Mac to a Windows box. I have worked with Unisys mainframes for 2 1/2 years, and I think they're great, probably kick IBMs butt head to head, but obviously not a marketshare % leader.
