Their ftp-site has always been unable to cope with the demand. The quality of the ftp-site has nothing to do with the quality of the database, just some stupid Americans at Oracle still don't understand they need to setup mirror-sites in EMEA and AP. For the rest nothing wrong with the database. BTW if you are downloading a free product and you are in the US you should be able to get the same product on CD for $ 4.50 S+H. Of course, this again doesn't apply for the rest of the world.
