product confusion

I've been using 8.0.0.5 for a while and we are very pelased.  So I want to
upgrade.  I recive about 30 CDs from Oracle.  I installed the quick suite.
I'm not sure that's all I need to do.  Do I


    
  
  1.   need enterprise manager
  
  2.   app server
  
  3.   web db






I want to do Java Server Pages from an Oracle DB.
