No platform given. Assuming you're on NT. Use Oracle Installer, then highlight your installation and choose to uninstall.

After that's all done, the things to check are:

  1. file system - you might still have some files and directories left in your ORACLE_HOME.
  2. file system again - $WINNT\system32 - there might be some DLLs dangling.
  3. registry - remove HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Oracle
  4. registry again - make sure HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services does not still contain Oracle services

If you're lucky, you won't have to do any of the (a) through (d), but it's worth checking,
