Oracle8 for Linux Installation - SHHMAX, etc.

I am trying to install Oracle 8 on Redhat Linux 5.2. According to the Installation Documentation,
one of the pre-installation tasks I need to do is to setup some Kernel Parameters: SHHMAX (maximum
shared memory), etc. But no details is provided as to how to do this on Linux. (The notoriously poor documentation of Oracle!) Can someone tell me what I should do? Thanks a lot! Received on Fri Mar 31 2000 - 00:00:00 CST
