Interesting. I'm fairly new to Oracle and I was exporting with compress=y, dropping the tables and importing in an effort (successfully) to reduce the number of extents tables were using.... I guess I dodged a few bullets in that my tablespace was large enough to handle the new extent size.
Question: will a export (without compress)/drop table/import unfragment the tables?
