Unix Server script locations

I have a couple of Oracle servers that I have inherited. I am attempting to get them set up so that when they are shut down and rebooted they will bring the Oracle databases and associated services up automatically. I have them configured allright (Ithink), but don't know where the listener (lsnrctl) is started. Could anyone give me an example of the startup and shutdowns? I am using 7.3.3 on an HP-UX and an AIX system. Thanks for your help.
