pasrallel server is usefule with linux???

Hi all,

    i woulkd ask someon with more experince about ht epossiblities to run oracle parallel server on two proliant multi processor with linux installed.
I know tha it si uspported but is it supported too the redundnacy of the db?? does the parallel server is a single istance on the two servers?? i need to know if it is possible to see only one sid form the client without thinkign wah tmachien is going to answer and if i tak other two machien the db scalability grow up....
