OAS SecurityI did tests with the CUSTOM option and got it working. I never tried PER_PACKAGE. However, this did not meet our needs. I skipped all the OWA_SEC stuff so I could accommodate my own security feature set. The solution is kludgey at best though, since my developers have to remember to put a call to a security-checking function at the top of ever publicly-accessible packaged procedure. My understanding is that WedDB 3.0 will finally have our ideas for web-based security built in. Best of luck, bill c.

My implementation is currently based on the OAS functionality of the owa_sec packages provided in the web tool kit.
Does anyone else out there in the world use this functionality? How do you get it two work as (I scoff at this) advertised? I'm wanting to use the owa_sec.set_authorization('PER_PACKAGE') but the documentation I have is not helpful and neither is ORACLE support. I have logged two TAR's and ONE BUG with them on this issue and have yet got a resolution and its been two months.

Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
