PowerTier and Oracle

Has anybody had experience with those products working together?

If yes, could you let me know about your experiences?

My Dev team says that it's 'writing SQL by itself'.

We use Oracle 7.3.4 and 8.1.6 on Solaris 2.6, 2.7 boxes
