Hi friends,

I think I solved my previous problem of authentication. But I have two more problems now...

FYI: I'm running Oracle8i EE 8.1.5 on NT4/SP6 MMC 1.1

  1. For some reason, when I open the Microsoft Management Console to view or edit my configured users, none of the ones I created via the ODBC console show up there anymore. Why is this? They did once, but now they do not. This is "very" vexing and disturbing. How can I fix this?
  2. Any users I add via the Microsoft Management Console do not work when logging in via ODBC or any other source for that matter. How do I fix this? Is there something I am doing wrong? I even tried setting the default ODBC login username string to <domain>\<username> format, as if I were connecting via a Win9X client and still nada.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated and possibly rewarded.

Thanks,
