Better database? For what?

MS Access is better than either Oracle or SQL-Server if you're developing a small single user database system.

Discussing the pros and cons of Oracle vs SQL-Server is an exercise in -utter- stupidity IMNSHO when there is no very specific baseline criteria to measure the pros and cons against.

Besides, deciding on what database to select, based simply on opinion, is the best way to get fired very quickly. Sound technical decisions rest on proper analysis of the requirements of the business.

Not on which database has the largest dick. </leadpipe>
