ora 12157 during job execution

Hi!

I am getting ora 12157 - TNS internal network communication error recorded in the alert log when a scheduled job is trying to execute a procedure - dbms_defer_sys.execute, which pushes the transactions from one master to the other in a multi-master replication environment. As a result, the job remained broken and the transactions are piling up.

The db links work fine, and I could start a sqlplus session from master A to master B and vice versa.

It was working fine before, but these messages started all of a sudden. Any suggestions/hints/help?
