Probably the library files in $ORACLE_HOME/lib, and some of the executables in $ORACLE_HOME/bin (sqlplus, exp, imp, etc) got replaced. You could probably copy from another installation (or backup??).

Webdb essentially puts down an 8.0.5 client installation, plus some utilities.
